My mother had her MRI today (probably where the time went) and we have to wait till Wednesday for her to speak to her doctor on what her next steps are. You know it would be really nice to go to the Dr. tell them whats wrong they send ya next door to get whatever test need to be done and then you go back to the doctor to get your results! To me this makes sense and seems easier for all involved. However, Its not how it goes and for whatever reason not that simple! Sigh!
Grandma also had her check up today! Shes healing quite nicely and no sign of infection. Still no pain (which is very good) and she goes back next week to have her stitches removed. So hopefully this will be a great thing for grandma and she can start moving around easier!
My Half brother Rob who was taken to the ER the other night for a possibly seizure is going to see another doctor for a second opinion. The ER doctor told him that basically he didn't have a seizure because he didn't "wet himself" and what caused his involuntary shaking of whole body and causing more damage to his already broken and slow mending bones was a seance of almost passing out but not. Hum...... I'm glad they are seeking a second opinion.
That's about it Medical wise in the family! LOL!
Oh, we did go to weight watchers today and ... oh snap.. I lost 1.5 pounds! I'm down to 196.5... YES! Slowly making it away from that 200 mark! UGH!
I also spent the day working on my day off! Fun isn't it!? I don't feel like much was accomplished! But somethings were.. kinda! Sigh! Oh, and my dear hubby (or nubbby as my iphone's auto speller likes to change the word into) is going to work for me a few days a week! Such a blessing -- who knows he may have fun!
Tomorrow is my first day back into work from a two week span away from my office! I miss my office and I can't wait to be back in it! So I will be returning all phone calls and finishing up my mass of emails! I had 780 emails and I'm finally down to 126 emails! YES! So everyone should hear from me by tomorrow that has tried to reach me!
Now I leave you with a final and sad note! Today the world lost an amazing dog named Pickles! I met her only once last year while shooting for my layover ladies. But she has made a forever impact on my life! Pickles you will be missed but remembered and loved by all! PK, your family fellow Pickle lovers are in my heart!
Picture borrowed from PK facebook page a picture of her on her last day!
